Simply awful. Would give no stars!
Using an IPad to mark is so much easier than a desktop computer HOWEVER, I have had no end of problems with this version. Lose feedback comments (just disappear!), duplicated feedback on learner scripts using text and pre-loaded comments of which I must find time to delete. Does not sync with computer/ VLE. Appalling product for teachers and lecturers. Several complaints to Turnitin via institution with no solutions provided. Also no help over learners being able to view grades during marking, when linked to VLE (Moodle). Exasperated! Little time to mark students work as it is!
Extremely frustrating experience
Om namah shivaya dhun youtube. I only started using this app a couple of weeks ago when I got a tablet, and it has been a constant source of irritation to me since then. Various glitches are really time-consuming, including the fact that default highlighting is by whole line rather than word. To top this, the app started crashing following the latest maintenance period, locking me out from assignments that urgently require marking. Please work on improving this software – it could be such a lifesaver, but really isn”t up to scratch just now!
PLEASE return to previous version of this app!
This used to be an absolutely excellent app, which I recommended to colleagues as superior to the desktop version of Turnitin. Having upgraded the computer version to Feedback Studio (which is now like the previous app), I cannot see why the iPad app should be so regressive. It doesn”t sync readily with the submissions on the computer (often does not sync at all!) and the comment box is not nearly as user friendly. PLEASE revert to the previous app.
